Arata Academy Revamp
As you may have noticed to those who used to be a part of Arata Academy we have recently undergone a massive revamp. Hopefully this'll bring in more members and once more bring Arata Academy to life. We should hopefully be finished in a week and ready for re-opening by September 1st at the latest.

Events - Expand/Collapse
Start of the new term - Term will be starting on the 1st of September. We hope to see you all there

D - Global Gig In accordance with the start of the new term our local J-Rock band D will be taking to the stage again with their "global" gig.

Plot - Expand/Collapse
Yet another year has started. Its time for a new term at school to start. Of course this is one of the busiest times of the year. New students have to find their way around. Older students are expected to help. Yet in a school like this something bad is always waiting to happen?

Why - because most the newer students still resent being sent here. They feel abandoned and hated by their parents, of course they're gonna play up. Things might end up changing around here - will Arata Academy come through, or will it be destroyed by the new wave of resentful students.

 Having Fun

Their hands were all over each other, fingertips dancing over bodies in time to the music. He crushed her into the corner, his lips pressuring hers as though he was starving. This was not the fault of too much alcohol, no, it was too fun. It was what happened next that was the fault of Alcohol. He pulled back. “Your place?” Stupidly, Kayla nodded. A year ago she had brought as many people to her home as she could. It was fun to hide them. But a year ago she had been living at home, in a giant mansion that was easy to hide someone in if she wanted. Although she was still in a large home, she did share it with 5 other people. Much harder to hide someone in. But none of this crossed Kayla’s alcohol numbed mind. All she could think about was being wanted. She hadn’t done this in a while. She needed her fix.

Getting home took longer than normal as they kept stopping for kisses, but it was 3am, all the teachers and most students were in bed. She led him up to her room and pushed him onto her bed. She sat astride him, kissed him and pulled of his shirt.

Kayla had a headache. She didn’t often have hangovers, and when she did they didn’t last long. But she still hated them. All things relative, right? A foot brushed against her own. Her heart leapt into her mouth. d**n. She’d forgotten about him. d**n d**n d**n! She could hear some of the others moving around downstairs. She climbed out of bed, pulling a dressing gown on over her naked body. Had he used a condom? Had she been too drunk to ask? God she hoped not. No helping that now.

He groaned and turned over, his eyes slowly opening and resting on her. “Coffee!” he gasped. She shook her head. “I think you may have outstayed your welcome.” He was the first person she had ever brought back home and she didn’t know how the others would react. “So, I think you may have to climb out the window.”
“f**k that!” he growled, sitting up and pulling on his jeans. “I’m not breaking my leg for the reputation of some bloody sleeper!”
“I believe you did exactly the same thing I did” her eyes narrowed at him. But the word hurt. A lot. And she found herself no longer caring how he left. She just wanted to be alone.
He didn’t reply. He just pulled on his shirt and went downstairs. “Hey guys,” she heard him say loudly “Nice to meet ya!” Then the door slammed.

For some reason crawling under the bed seemed more inviting than curling up on the bed, but that was too much effort. She curled up under her duvet. sleeper. She’d only wanted some fun. As had everyone else, but this was the first time she ever felt bad about it. sleeper...

Hiroki had been up longest, already dressed. He had noticed the guy coming down growling softly. He was sure that weren't Asagi's. Asagi normally brought his guys down - the rare times he actually got with a guy. Hide-zou n Ruiza were still in their room, he could hear them giggling.

Tsunehito being uninterested in either gender, so it wouldn't have been him. Which left only Kayla. His eyes narrowed a bit as he finished his toast. Before he turned away heading to the practice rooms. He'd rather drown himself in his drums right now. Screw school. Didn't really feel like going.

Instead he settled himself at on his stool starting to play, no real set beat, just angry beats, any drum. His eyes were closed, tense - unusual for him. He normally relaxed at his drums, they were his haven. Not this time though, he hurt inside. Not that he could understand why. Nor the feeling. Why did he feel betrayed? He weren't seeing her. They were friends..right... just friends.

Asagi looked up from where he was finishing his slice of toast. He almost raised to follow Hiroki before shaking his head. He figured that'd do no good. Better to wait, see what had really happened.

Kayla could hear Hiroki on the drums, but she was too upset and musically incapable to hear any beat. What she did think was that this was half decent cover to throw things around to. She was angry. But she didn’t want to move. Her body was heavy and she just hurt inside. She’d never thought of herself like that before. She just had fun and enjoyed feeling wanted. But she couldn’t stay in bed all day. She felt sick. Her bedclothes needed a wash. She crawled out of bed and grabbed her mobile. She keyed in Gabriel’s number. No answer. She stared at her phone for a second, and instead of putting it back on her desk she just dropped it to the floor. She stripped her bed and tightened the sash on her dressing gown – she’d have a shower in a moment. She felt like the word was sticking to her like mud. But right now, the sheets were the worst part. They were the evidence. She took them downstairs, nodding to Asagi over Hiroki’s drum beats. What could she say? Did he think she was a sleeper too? She didn’t think so. Asagi was her friend, but seeing him made her feel disappointed in herself. She shoved the offensive items in the washing machine, put the powder and fabric conditioner in and pressed on. She watched the contents churn for a second and couldn’t help realising that she felt exactly like that for probably the first time in her life.
